1. Wow! WowPot!

At the moment, MicroGaming's WowPot progressive is skyrocketing. This is a game where the jackpot is usually hit every other day, and it's been building since last Sunday. With a game that hits that frequently, it's no surprise that there have been 371 jackpot winners in it's history, going back to May 2000. The current jackpot, at more than $38,000 is already the fifth highest that this game has ever seen. The nice thing about WowPot in my experience is that it doesn't seem as one-sided as many progressives. At $1.50 per spin, with a fair payout frequency, you can play for a good while. Get in on this one fast. I predict a hit before the weekend. Check the home page first, to see if it's still ranked #1. http://www.slotcharts.com

If not, click "See recent jackpots won" to see where it went. :-)

2. RealTime Gaming casinos added

If you've ever read the Online Gambling article at my other site BlackjackInfo.com, you may know that I've had a skeptical opinion of online casinos powered by RealTime Gaming's software. The brand has had a shaky past, with several rogue operators that were slow-pay or no-pay. That's a shame, because the software is really excellent. I particularly like the speed of their blackjack game. No other software comes close.

Since they also offer a handful of progressive games, I really wanted to add them to the site at SlotCharts. However, there are still some shady operations afoot with this software. I inquired among the savvier online players, and came up with a short list of RTG casinos that have excellent customer service reputations to go with their excellent software.

Here's the list:

If you play RTG, be sure to check out the coolest progressive concept I've seen in a while. Their slot game, 'It's Good to Be Bad' awards the progressive jackpot to a player who loses a large number of consecutive spins. It's surprisingly addictive.

3. I catch a nice Royal (again)

My luck has been pretty good lately. I followed up November's $4K royal with a pair this month. I hit for $1000 at Mapau Casino, and $4000 at Blackjack.com, both Royal Flushes at Jacks or Better video poker. However, Blackjack.com, an OddsOn casino has yet to come through with the funds. My withdrawal has been pending for 16 days. That's far too long for a Neteller withdrawal. If they haven't paid up by the next newsletter, you'll certainly hear about it from me. And, of course, you'll notice that they're not on the casino list at SlotCharts.com, and they won't be!

4. Big wins at MicroGaming

It's been an amazing week for MicroGaming progressives. First, a Progressive Cyberstud winner of $320,000 on Tuesday, then a huge $1.6 million hit at Major Millions on Thursday. I bet two people out there somewhere are having one heck of a celebration!

5. New casino listing page

Until now, if you were looking to see which casinos rated high enough for a link at SlotCharts, you had to poke around under the individual games to find them all. That's why we recently added a page listing all the casinos in one convenient place, grouped by software. If you're looking for a new place to grab a first deposit bonus, check here:
